CAPSIM participates in research projects, working both on electricity grid problems as well as on complex analysis of energy systems.
Active on the question of microgrids and smart grids, CAPSIM contributes to the research activities of its customers by using both its skills in simulation and its experience across the various fields involved: electricity grids, generation systems, instrumentation and control.
CAPSIM has also developed new R&D concepts such as the static current-limiter circuit breaker which resulted in the filing of a patent after validation on a mock-up and for development of a new marine current generator.
Large international research projects such as ITER have called on CAPSIM for calculations, expert reports and special studies (analysis of the influence of stray magnetic fields from tokamak on induction motors).
