This project was developed by CAPSIM to meet the following requirements :
- to have a tool to increase the technical expertise of the new programs
- to appraise the impact of new technologies offered by manufacturers
- tp give expert opinions on the shipping in service
Realization
The platform comes in the form of graphical interfaces and allows the simulation of power systems using PSIM, ETAP and Matlab Simulink. The integrated database is structured to be able to collect models, networks and documents.
The platform allows to perform such prospective studies of choice for electrical architectures (eg concept NTE). Also, the client uses when designing programs for risk reduction on the electrical stability of networks, the standards of power quality, analysis of failures, or analysis the impact of changes on electrical networks (Maintenance, new technologies ....).
Results
This modeling and simulation platform is changing, due to the activities of the client are increasing, CAPSIM continues today, the Maintenance in Operational Condition. Additional analysis tools are being developed (harmonic studies, energy analysis...) and multi-physics models are being integrated (steam plant, mechanical aspects, etc. ..).
