Electrical power grid studies
They group together all the electrical calculations on the network, be it the calculations of power flow and voltage plane, short-circuit current, harmonic components, selectivity studies, dynamic stability studies. earth network, network reliability, coordination studies of insulation and cable sizing.
The different studies of Capsim
Dynamic stability study : it allows in particular to analyze the transitional phases identified, to qualify and quantify the disturbances, to evaluate the margins of stability and to propose palliative solutions in the event of a problem
Grid connection study : this study makes it possible to identify grid code constraints to meet the requirements of the network manager
Harmonic analysis : they make it possible to measure the amplitudes of the harmonic currents. This study also calculates the harmonic distortion rates of the voltages. It makes it possible to propose and validate harmonic filtering solutions.
Power flow and voltage plan study : Capsim models the entire network by digital simulation. In this way, it takes into account its modes of operation.
Selectivity study : it allows to validate the protection plan, as well as to adjust certain settings.
Short-circuit current calculation : allows to collect several data. These are thus used for the dimensioning of the materials as well as for the adjustment of the protections.
Sizing an electricity distribution grid : it is optimized to reduce costs. They must be reduced while ensuring compliance with electrical standards.
System’s Operating Reliability : Among other things, it makes it possible to quantify the indicators of the reliability and availability of the electrical system studied.
